About Me

In my previous life I was an Promotional and Experiential Field Marketing Professional for liquor and tobacco products. If you enjoy one, or both, of the two most popular vices in America (and possibly in the world), then I marketed to you. This was great fun, but it turns out that there's a shelf-life for women in Field Marketing. Once you're over the age of the company's target demographic, you're no longer desirable as an employee.

And so, I jumped on the career change train. I went back to college in my late 20's and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management. I was lucky enough to find employment in my field of choice, and have been working in Talent Acquisition for the last few years.

There is a shameful lack of quality information online about how to be successful in the workplace, in your career, and in your job hunt. I was inspired to create this blog to fill that gap.

I hope you find my content engaging and useful. Please comment and ask questions. If you would like me to address a specific topic, feel free to ask and I will do my best to oblige.
